Hi! I will be travelling around China and Kazakhstan for a few months this summer, and this website will serve as a journal for my thoughts and my photos. I've named it Oliver, The World after my travelling companion, Oliver, a stuffed raccoon that spent two years in my friends' apartment.

I will try my best to keep this updated once or twice a week, though given the Internet situation in China, I cannot make any promises. My flight leaves for Beijing at 2 am from LAX on the 25th of June, the day before my 21st birthday, and I will return to California on the 30th of August.
